“Our organization exists because children affected by parental incarceration or substance use often experience instability, shame, and unmet emotional needs through no fault of their own. We believe early, consistent, and trauma-informed support can change outcomes — not just for youth, but for entire families and communities.

STANDARDS Academy & Advocacy Group Inc (STANDARDS) is a Non-Profit. Organization that works to help children and youth whose parents are incarcerated or on drugs. We are passionate about our mission because we are highly aware of the vulnerability and predisposition to loss of functional parental guidance.

We welcome professional volunteers who have the desire to serve such a population. We accept donations in cash or kind to meet the needs of our youth in the program. We believe in empowering our youth to raise standards of excellence through dedication, resilience and determination.

STANDARDS also seeks to raise public awareness about some of the most pressing issues facing our society's youth. Please join us by supporting our efforts to make a measurable difference in the lives of others.

Through mentorship, educational support, basic needs assistance, parent rehabilitation advocacy, and school partnerships for student development, we aim to transform lives, strengthen families, and inspire hope for every child we serve.

Back in 2021, our Non-Profit Organization realized that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch STANDARDS.

STANDARDS Academy & Advocacy Group Inc is a non-profit organization dedicated to the cause of reaching out to children and young adults (teens) whose parents are incarcerated or on drugs. We know the predisposition to vulnerability that the loss of functional parental guidance imposes.

STANDARDS is committed to being a voice for the children and youth at risk of giving up on life after feeling robbed of a normal family life. STANDARDS will seek out resources such as mentorship, scholarships for education opportunities, mental health care and spiritual awareness..
